“We have a secret in our culture, and it’s not that birth is painful. It’s that women are strong.”
-Laura Stavoe Harm
Hi there, I’m Jordyn!
I am a wife, mother to two sweet babies and from the Fort Wayne area. My passion for all this birth was ignited during my first pregnancy and birth of my son in 2022. I became a certified birth doula through Childbirth International in 2024, and that along with my own two pregnancies and births have taught me some of my most valued lessons.
Outside of birth work I love to spend my time with my two kids and husband, researching all things holistic health and wellness, working out, listening to pregnancy and birth podcasts (ask me about my favorites!), and spending time outside. I can talk pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and nutrition all day! I also hold certification as a VBAC doula, an up-to-date CPR/AED and First Aid Certification and I’m a part of a local non-profit called the Community Doula Collective.
I am passionate about being the small piece of the puzzle that assists in women tapping into their instincts that have been rooted within them since the beginning and advocating for mothers to take back and hold onto their power and voice in order to increase positive birth outcomes. I believe every woman deserves support and that every mother is capable of an intervention-free, physiological birth.
I believe that you, the mother, are more than capable when comes to owning and taking charge of your birth. I believe every woman deserves to have her wishes during her pregnancy, birth and post-partum respected, and is entitled to true and informed consent. I believe you deserve to feel empowered, supported and in control.
I can’t wait to chat more with you!
